Gave a little push

A little encouragement

A little hope

And wished, perhaps they will cross

the boundary of ignorance

They will cross the boundary of bondage

They will come out of their prison cells.

Your names were changed

for the time and place

but your inner being?

Women like Prajapathi, Yasodaraa,

Kisa, or Subha.

And so many modern “Devis” have been born there.

So, what had happened to you and me?

Nothing will happened to us!

If we don’t crawled out of the shell

as you and me, 

your granddaughter

also will be a crab

for grab to an Eagle.

So, be an Eagle!

You would survive !
